    3. Point Income

    1. Sora-Chika Card (ANA To Me Card Pasmo JCB Card) and "Sora-Chika Route"

  3. Summary

1. "Point Earning Websites" (PEW)

In modern Japan, there are many websites where you can earn "points." The "points" that you earned through playing games, issueing credit cards, opening an FX account, etc. can be converted into cash that can be transfered to your bank account in Japan or into other forms of virtual currency, including .money points, Amazon giftcard, iTunes giftcard, and so on.

These websites function in the following way. The advertisers, usually big companies that want to attract customers, ask Point Earning Websites to post their ads on their websites. In return, the advertisers will pay money (reward) to the Point Earning Websites (PEW) after people use their services or purchase their products through the ads on the Point Earning Websites. Finally, some of the money that these websites received from the advertisers will be paid to the users of the Point Earning Websites.

Keep in mind that these websites are all in Japanese and that some websites are not trustworthy. "Malicious" Point Earning Websites will pretend as if they will give you a large sum of reward, such as 10,000 Yen worth of iTunes giftcard, if you register some monthly-paied web services. In reality, though, they have no intention of paying you the reward. They will keep all the advertisement reward from the advertised companies to themselves.

Now, you might think that using Point Earning Websites isn't going to help you at all. It's too fast to reach the conclusion!! Let me introduce 3 Point Earning Websites that I have been using and I have earned money from.

1. Hapitas

   The first is Hapitas.

日々の生活にhappyをプラスする|ハピタス

This website is very popular among many Japanese people who earn ANA miles through the use of Point Earning Websites (These people are called "Land Milers" because they do not earn miles by taking flights but by using services on the land). One of the reasons for the popularity of this website is the system of reference system. If your friend becomes a member of Hapitas through the invitation from you, you will continue to get 10% ~ 40% of the points that your friend earns through Hapitas. If you register Hapitas through the invitation from me (by clicking the link above), you can get 30 points (= 30 Yen) immediately after registration.

2. Moppy

The second Point Earning Website that I recommend is Moppy.

モッピー!お金がたまるポイントサイト

This website sometimes features ads that pay you more than other Point Earning Websites. It's better to register several Point Earning Websites (PEWs), so that you can choose the ads across different PEWs that pay you the best.

3. Point Income

Finally, the third PEW is Point Income.

I recommend registering Point Income for the same reason as for resistering Moppy. Different PEWs offer different amount of reward for users, so choosing the highest reward is always the wise option.

2. Turning Points into ANA Miles

Converting the points you earned through these PEWs is a little complicated. You need to take a few steps. All of these three PEWs allow you to convert the points you earned into .money point(s). Then, You can convert .money points into Metro Points. Finally, you will exchange Metro Points for ANA Miles. Here's the conversion route and rate:

1,000 Hapitas Points (= 1,000 Yen) → 1,000 .money Points → 1,000 Metro Points → 900 ANA Miles (If you have Sora-Chika Card)

 1.  Sora-Chika Card (ANA To Me Card Pasmo JCB Card) and "Sora-Chika Route"

As you saw the conversion rate above, you need to make a credit card, ANA To Me Card Pasmo JCB (aka. Sora-Chika Card). With this card, you can convert 1,000 Metro Points into 900 ANA miles. This rate is the highest in Japan as of now (July, 2017). Therefore, to earn lots of ANA Miles, you need to get Cora-Chika Card. The convertion route above is only valid if you have Sora-Chika Card, so the route is called "Sora-Chika Route."

 2. Limit: 20,000 Metro Points = 18,000 ANA Miles / Month

The Sora-Chika route has a limitation, however. You can only convert up to 20,000 Metro Points per month. This limitation is set by Tokyo Metro Company, and there's no loopholes found as yet.

If you continue to earn 20,000 Metro Points and convert the points to ANA miles monthly, you can earn 216,000 ANA Miles in a year (18,000 x 12 = 216,000).
