3. Most Popular ANA Card

Among these vast number of card types, ANA Visa Wide Gold Card is the most popular among ANA Milers (people who earn ANA miles). There are three reasons.

First, the annual fee of ANA Visa Wide Gold Card (15,150 Yen) can be reduced to 10,260 by signing up for "Self-Paced Revolving Program" and for Online Card Usage Program. Self-Paced Revolving Program is a program where the card user can decide how much money to pay for his/her card usage. If you're short of money this month but will be able to pay back the rest of the bill next month, for instance, you can use Self-Paced Revolving Program and choose the amount of money to pay this month. You need to keep in mind, however, that there will be 15%/Year fee for the amount of money unpaid. Online Card Usage Program allows you to check your card usage and bills for each month online, and you won't receive the information on paper anymore after signing up for this program.

Second, ANA Visa Wide Gold Card is a gold card with a lot of benefits, including airport lounge service, travel insurance, and 2,000 bonus ANA miles every year. Details about these benefits can be found on the official website (in Japanese text only).

Third, ANA Visa Wide Gold Card helps you earn more ANA miles. ANA gold cards will increase your Card Mileage Accural Rate from 10% (Regular Card) to 25%. Furthermore, when you convert your credit card point from JCB or Visa / Master to ANA miles, there's no Redemption Handling Fee, whereas regular cards will charge you 5,400 Yen (JCB) and 6,480 Yen (Visa / Master) per year.

4. Reward Point System of ANA Card

When you make purchases with your ANA card, you will get 1 Okidoki Point (JCB) or World Present Point (Visa / Master) per every 1,000 Yen monthly. 1 Okidoki / World Present Points can be converted into 10 ANA miles, so the point rate is 1%. For example, if you spend 20,000 Yen this month, you'll earn 20 Okidoki / World Present Points (= 200 ANA miles).
