1. Online Shopping via Hapitas / Point Income

For your everyday life, where do you go for shopping? Supermarkets near your house? Convenience stores on your way home from work? If you care about earning points and converting these points into ANA miles, shopping online is usually a better option. For most online shops, including Yahoo! Japan, Rakuten, and Ieon Internet Supermarket, you can find the links on Points Earning Websites (PEWs). I recommend you use Hapitas or Point Income for shopping online.

2.  Advantage of Using Hapitas / Point Income

I recommend using Hapitas or Point Income for your online shopping for one simple reason. These two websites will guarantee that you will get points after you use the ads on these websites for online shopping. This system can only be found in these two websites, and Moppy doesn't have one.

3.  Disadvantages of Online Shopping

If you can find what you want to buy on online shops at a lower price than that in a shop in your neighborhood, that'd be fantastic. However, the price for some items is actually higher on online shops than on physical shops in your town. For example, tissue paper box can be purchased for around 300 Yen at a grocery store near my house, while a similar product is sold for more than 450 Yen on online shops. Also, some online shops will chanrge you for shipping fee. These additional costs sometimes make it more attractive to go shopping at a local shop than to go online. When you want to buy something, make sure to check the price at your local store as well as that on an online shop, and then decide which shop to use.

4. Summary

In this article, I described how to earn points using ads for online shopping on PEWs, especially Hapitas and Point Income for their service of guaranteeing your points. Keep in mind, though, that online shopping sometimes ends up costing you more due to the shipping fee and the  price. Before shopping online, it's a good idea to check the price of the same product at your local store. Thank you for reading!
